Church Office Closed Until Further Notice

Dear Church Family,

As a result of the Denton County Shelter in Place order that was issued today, the church will close today at 3:00 pm and remain closed until further notice. We will continue to provide worship opportunities online with each of our four worshipping communities and other online connection opportunities. Make sure to follow us on Facebook, sign up for the church newsletter, and visit fumcdenton.com for the most up-to-date information and opportunities for online connection during this time. 

If you have any needs during this time, please fill out our help request form at fumcdenton.com/covid19. If pastoral care is needed, please contact the special pastoral care phone number at (940) 536-3353. If you are interested and able to make phone calls to others in our community to check in on them and their needs, please fill out the form online at fumcdenton.com/calls and our staff will offer you a small group of folks to keep in contact with. If you haven’t given online, please look into that opportunity at fumcdenton.com/give. We need all who can to continue their financial support of the church so we can continue to care for our Denton community, church staff, and congregation. 

Although the doors are closed, we know that the church is not a building—it’s all of us, wherever we are. We will continue to be the church in this new way and we will be in prayer for all of you.
