Why Join the Church?
Do you have to become a member of a church to grow spiritually? Of course not! We will love you well, whether you decide to join our congregation or not.
So why join a church? We’re better together; it’s as simple as that!
In the Methodist tradition, when you join a church you are vowing to continue your faith journey in this community with your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and your witness. Maybe that sounds like a lot when you hear it all at once, but the joy of membership is that you are not in this alone. All other members of FUMC Denton have made the same commitment, and we are here to love, support, and encourage you in your journey.
God wants you to feel, not only loved, but deeply known. We are all looking for connection and community, and the church is a beautiful place to begin.
