Sunday Mornings

NURSERY (Infants-Prek)
EAST WING  |  8:30 am—12:30 pm

Check-in your little ones on the 1st floor for a fun time of learning and playing. Open during all Sunday worship & group activities.

KIDS (K-5th)
EAST WING  |  10 am

Kids gather to learn how to be like Jesus in a loving environment. Secure check-in in Room 241 on second floor.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
ROOM 241  |  9:15 am

Kids in K-5th are welcome to enjoy a time of music-making and learning during the school year.

Helping Kids Connect With God

At First United Methodist Church of Denton, we offer a Children’s Ministry that includes a variety of program options that work together to teach Bible stories, to nurture a child’s innate spirituality and to provide opportunities to practice what they learn. Through Sunday school, Bible study, children’s choir, and family missions your child will be given the tools needed to be disciples of Jesus in a loving, family-focused environment. 

Mission

FUMC Denton provides family-friendly mission opportunities throughout the year, appropriate for children of all ages. We want to provide the means for your children to learn to put the God-inspired word they learn into action and practice it often. It’s never too early to empower children to help change the world in positive and powerful ways.
