Live-streaming Update

At FUMC Denton, we welcome everyone, whether you're joining us in person or online. To ensure everyone can participate, we've dedicated ourselves to providing high-quality streaming and online worship experiences, alongside our longstanding cablecast that's been a tradition for nearly 30 years.

Recently, we've faced some challenges with our live streaming, possibly related to our internet service provider and ongoing construction near the church. We are actively addressing these issues and appreciate your understanding during this time.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of Steve Chenoweth, who volunteers his expertise in managing our IT and technology, and for Jim McKinney, our Mosaic/Open stream director, along with our TV directors, camera operators, and audio/visual techs. Their hard work makes it all possible.

Because we anticipate continued challenges with live streaming, we have made the decision not to livestream for the next two Sundays. Instead, we will post the services on Facebook and YouTube shortly after they conclude. This approach ensures that everyone at home can watch the full services without interruptions or glitches. We believe this is the most faithful way to maintain connection with our online community under the current circumstances.

Please note, this temporary suspension does not affect our cablecast, which will continue as usual at 11:00 am on Frontier and Spectrum. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Dr. Joshua Taylor, Director of Worship and Music.
