Join us for a community discussion on Gun Violence be Sunday, August 21, at First United Methodist Church of Denton in Flinn Hall from 5:30-8 pm.

5:30-6 pm will be a time for light refreshments, an opportunity to register to vote, and mingling.
6-8 pm will be speakers and a panel discussion followed by time for questions.

Cathy Taylor, founder and advocate for Journey4ward, a group supporting families affected by violence, from Fort Worth will serve a moderator for the evening. 

Our panel will include representatives from Denton PD and Denton ISD, Donna Bloom from Denton Friends of the Family, Pastor Cedric Chambers from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and councilwoman Vicki Byrd.
