Origin Stories: God of the Dirt

As much as origin stories help us remember the past and remember who we are, they shape who we are, can help us be who we truly are. In our worship series, we are looking to the origin stories of our faith tradition found in the Book of Genesis. These stories have been told for thousands of years to teach us about who we are and who God is, and how we are called to relate to God, each other, and ourselves.

As we peel back the layers and the years, there is wisdom to remember and new things to uncover, all of which will leave us saying “Yep, that’s our people and that is our God.” Join us this Sunday in worship in person or online as we look to the stories found in Genesis chapter 2 and remember the God who is right here in this life with us. We can’t wait to gather with you all and say together: “That’s our people!”
