Our First Winter Wonderland Dance

What a night! This past Saturday, FUMC Denton and Flower Mound UMC came together for our very first Winter Wonderland Dance, and it was absolutely magical.

A group of kids gathered in front of the blue, silver, and white balloon arch and photo opp spot.

Pastor Sheryl and Kerry Mays, Director of Children's Ministry from Flower Mound UMC, worked hard to transform the Monroe Gym into a stunning winter wonderland complete with silver and dark blue decorations that sparkled throughout the evening.

Families from both churches filled the event with energy and joy as children danced the night away to an awesome playlist. Seeing kids dressed up in their favorite wintery attire—twirling, laughing, and making new friends—reminded us of the beautiful community we share. From the youngest dancers to the parents who joined in, everyone embraced the festive spirit.

This event was so fun that we're already looking forward to next year's Winter Wonderland Dance! Thank you to Pastor Sheryl and Kerry for their creativity and hard work, and to all the families who came ready to celebrate.
