Supporting Teen Parents in Denton ISD

Throughout September, our Mission Corner focused on supporting the Teen Parent Program in Denton ISD—a vital initiative that provides resources and encouragement for students who are balancing parenthood and high school.

Because of your compassion and commitment to caring for our community, we collected 110 essential baby items and 560 diapers to share with these young parents. These donations will go directly toward helping students meet their children’s basic needs so they can stay in school, graduate, and build a strong foundation for their families.

The Teen Parent Program, led by dedicated social workers at six Denton ISD campuses, offers pregnant and parenting teens access to childcare resources, home-bound instruction, and transportation assistance. With your help, these students are reminded that they are not alone—and that their community believes in their ability to thrive.
