Congratulations, Rev. Jenny Bates!
We have exciting news to share: Jenny Bates was commissioned as a provisional deacon in The United Methodist Church on June 3, 2024! Jenny is the last deacon to be commissioned in the North Texas Annual Conference before our merger with two other conferences. It's such a special moment for all of us!
As Rev. Jenny begins this journey in ministry, please pray as Jenny ministers to youth at Arapaho UMC and to college students at the Denton Wesley Foundation at UNT.
We love you, Jenny! We're so thankful to have been your home church for this journey and for all the ways you've impacted FUMC Denton. Because of who you are, we are more who we are. We're cheering you on every step of the way!
