Annual Conference Highlights: Celebrations, Connections, and New Beginnings!

We had an amazing time at the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church Annual Conference over the past three days!

We celebrated our beloved Pastor Don Lee and all the incredible things he’s done for us and our conference. His legacy is something special, and we couldn’t be prouder! We also cheered on our friend Rev. Jenny Bates as Jenny got commissioned as a provisional deacon. Yay, Jenny!

Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. and other pastors shared inspiring messages that pumped us up and reminded us why we do what we do. Plus, the worship team included one of our very own, Krystal Stroud, and had us all on our feet with their amazing music.

We reconnected with old friends and got to spend time with new ones, including our incoming Co-Lead Pastors, Raegan and Scott Gilliland. We’re super excited to have them join us this July!

All in all, it’s been such a joy to be part of the connectional ministry of the United Methodist Church!
