Update: Winter Weather Event this Weekend

Dear Church Family,

After carefully watching the forecast for this weekend, and in an effort to maintain safety, we have made the decision to cancel/postpone in-person ministries this Saturday and Sunday (January 24 and 25). Here's some information on how this impacts some of our larger scheduled events:

Worship - A recorded Worship Service will be available on FUMC Denton's YouTube Channel. We will post links to the video on our Facebook pages. Barring any issues related to the church internet or cable companies, the service will also go out on cable as normal.

Winter Wonderland Dance - Rescheduled for Saturday, February 7th. The City of Denton has no plans to offer a Valentines Dance this year, so this is a great opportunity for us to welcome in new people looking for some family fun!

Chili Cook-Off Youth Fundraiser - Rescheduled for March 1.

On Sunday, we will send an update about whether the campus will be open on Monday.

Please stay safe and warm this weekend. Our Daily Bread and Salvation Army will open as the local emergency shelters beginning Friday morning. We are coordinating with those organizations to maximize care during this winter weather event.
