Introducing Hannah Phillips, Assistant Director to Youth and Families

This message sent on behalf of Carol Rogers, Chair of Staff Parish Relations Committee

The Staff Parish Relations Committee is pleased to announce Hannah Phillips as Assistant Director to Youth and Families. Hannah has been an active member of our Open community since it began, most recently as the Open Intern. In addition to her involvement with Open, Hannah has worked with Project Transformation (a UMC summer day camp for under-served children in the Dallas area), and helped establish a National Merit Ambassador program at UNT where she coordinated National Merit Scholarship student visits and assisted with their recruitment.

Hannah graduated from UNT this past May with degrees in English Literature and German. This fall she will begin online classes working towards a Masters of Divinity degree at Garrett Evangelical Seminary. Hannah says she is incredibly excited to continue to serve our church community in her new "grown-up” position. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys dancing the two-step and east coast swing. She also enjoys baking and is looking forward to sharing some homemade cookies with the youth.

Please join me in welcoming Hannah. She can be reached at hphillips@fumc-denton.com
