ChurchPulse Survey & In-Person Worship Opportunities
April 26, 2021
Friends,
It’s time! Today we are so happy to share with you details on our plan for return to in-person worship and offer a survey to help us come back even better.
As more in our congregation become vaccinated, it has filled us with hope and excitement about the ability to gather together in our church. Through the early summer we’ll be transitioning to live-streaming and bringing back ensembles, choir, and tech and hospitality teams. Then, beginning July 18, we will all be able to join together as a church family in person for Sanctuary Worship. Your church staff and lay leadership have been hard at work imagining what kind of church FUMC Denton can be when we return, and one essential element of that plan is radical hospitality. In anticipation of a full re-opening of all small groups and programs on August 15, we’ll use these Sanctuary Worship Sundays to refine our new hospitality plan.
So, today, we are asking for your help. In order to best understand who we are as a church, we are writing to ask you to participate in an important ChurchPulse survey. It will take approximately 10 minutes of your time, and your responses will help ensure FUMC Denton is a more relevant and inspiring faith home for you, your family, and the entire community. Please know that your responses will be held in confidence.
To review, today we’d like you to do three things. First, take our ChurchPulse survey at this link. Next, mark your calendars beginning Sunday, July 18, for in-person Sanctuary Worship and to help us test drive our incredible new hospitality plan. Finally, keep this church family in your prayers as we seek to navigate this new beginning, deepen our connections with each other, and be even more who God is calling us to be, for you and your family, for our neighbors, and for our world.
We are praying for you and look forward to seeing you face to face soon!
In faith and hope and love,
Pastors Don Lee & Jonathan Perry
