All Invited to Charge Conference
The annual Charge Conference for FUMC Denton is scheduled for this Sunday, November 8 at 5:00 pm. All members are welcome to attend virtually. We will be broadcasting this event on our YouTube channel so that any interested member may attend. Just click the button below a little before 5:00 pm and watch for the live video to appear.
The business of the Charge Conference is to review the year and to vote on specific items which will include:
Clergy Compensation
Approval of Accountable Reimbursement Policy
Affirmation of Licensed Local Pastors
Affirmation of Candidates for Ministry
Approval of Lay Leadership Roster
Approval of First Reading
Recognition of Lay Servant Ministers
Also, members will receive a report from the Task Force on Racial Justice, a report from our Lead Pastor and a special message from our District Superintendent, Dr. Ron Henderson. You can visit fumcdenton.com/chargeconference to download the Charge Conference Notebook.
