This year’s senior retreat is a roadtrip! We’ll plan senior events and have fun, too. 

Itinerary:

Friday

• Leave FUMC Denton at 5:30

• Dinner and axe throwing in Richardson. https://dallasaxethrowing.com/

• Stay overnight at FUMC of Richardson (bring air mattress, etc.) (FUMC Richardson has showers.)

• Devotional & plan Senior Night for Sunday Evening Youth

Saturday

• IHOP Breakfast

• We will plan Senior Sunday (May 15) at Union, a coffee house church, Oak Lawn & Cedar Springs. Please order something–they have coffee, tea, and more. Your purchases support a United Methodist church. Check out the menu at uniondallas.org.

• Lunch at Klyde Warren Park. You can see what food trucks will be there (closer to the day) at this link: klydewarrenpark.org/things-to-do/dining.html.

• Fun in downtown Dallas

• Back to FUMC Denton by 5:30

Cost is $75, which covers all expenses except a drink at Union and lunch on Saturday.  Scholarships are available, contact David at dfinley@fumc-denton.com.

What to bring:

• Change of clothes, toiletries, etc. for an overnight trip

• Air mattress, sleeping bag, cot, or similar

• Money for lunch at Klyde Warren

• Money for drink or whatever at Union

• Money for shopping, souvenirs, etc.

• All your creativity

• Your sense of humor
