Guatemala Adult Mission Trip

  • First United Methodist Church of Denton 201 South Locust Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

Are you interested in traveling to a beautiful country, experiencing local culture and doing life-changing work? Join us this summer for an adult mission trip to Guatemala, July 16-24. We will be working with the Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya (ODIM) on Lake Attilan in the Highlands of Guatemala to install fuel efficient stoves and ECO water filters in homes. Cost of this trip is $1500. Partial scholarships are available. Please contact Peg Hartung at peghartung12@gmail.com for more information.

The Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya (ODIM) is an non-profit organization in Guatemala that exists to make this world a better place. ODIM dares to believe that compassionate, competent and comprehensive medical care and education are possible even in the poorest places on earth. They believe that working together with the people of San Pablo La Laguna and San Juan la Laguna is better than going it alone— that there are many people in this world who believe the same.
