Free Adult Cooking & Nutrition Classes

Friends of Shiloh Garden, in partnership with First United Methodist Church of Denton, is launching a new hands-on cooking series for adults who want to learn how to cook, preserve, and eat with fresh, local produce.

Held in FUMC Denton's commercial kitchen in Monroe Gym, each Saturday session covers everything from canning and food preservation to healthy recipes made with produce grown local at Shiloh Garden. Classes are taught by Shiloh Board members, Master Gardeners, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension educators.

Space is limited to 5–10 participants per class, so sign up early! Each class is on a Saturday from 4-6pm. Monroe Gym is on the Sycamore Street side of FUMC Denton.
