How to Teen: A Crash Course in Teen Culture

  • First United Methodist Church of Denton 201 South Locust Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

Ever wondered what it’s really like to be a teenager today? Spoiler alert: It’s not like when you were a teen—or even when your kids were teens. This two-week class is led by our high school youth and is designed for adults of all ages (not just parents).

Through open discussion, personal insights, and a bit of humor, our teens will share:

  • What matters most to their generation

  • The biggest events shaping their worldview

  • What they wish adults understood about them

  • A crash course in Gen Z lingo (yes, we’ll explain “skibidi” and “rizz”)

  • How they see the church and Christian faith

There will be a Q&A session each week! Come ready to listen and learn from our youth at 10am on Sundays, April 6 & 13 in Room 108. It’s skibidi rizz. No cap.
