Our high schoolers are heading to Baton Rouge, LA this summer in partnership with Revive 225—a home repair ministry of FUMC Baton Rouge. They drew a 3-mile radius circle around their church building which encompasses some of the poorest neighborhoods in the city. There were floods in 2016 and Hurricane Ida in 2021. There’s a lot to do. Wednesday will be a day off and we will take a side trip to New Orleans, see some alligators, and eat some beignets.
The cost for this trip is $650. A deposit of $150 is due on orbefore March 27 reserve your spot. The remaining $500 due on or before May 27. Mandatory Trip meeting on May 1 at 4:30 pm in Monroe Gym.
