High School Mission Trip | June 14–20, 2026
In early July 2025, San Angelo was devastated by catastrophic flash flooding—one of many communities struck by record rainfall that left over 1,000 homes with major damage and transformed familiar streets into impassable waterways. The road to recovery is long, and help is needed. This summer, high schoolers are invited to travel to San Angelo, Texas for a week of meaningful service and community impact partnering with Be the Neighbor.
Over the course of the week, your group will engage in hands-on disaster relief and recovery work. Students might help clear debris, assist with home repairs, distribute essential supplies, or support local shelters and disaster response organizations. Alongside the physical work, we'll hear directly from residents whose lives were upended by the flood and gain a deeper understanding of what long-term recovery truly looks like for a community.
Cost: $450 per person
This is more than a service trip—it's a chance for students to show up for neighbors in need, grow in their faith, and be the hands and feet of Christ in a place still finding its footing.
