The NTCUMC annual laity event, God’s Umbrella – Vision of Unity, is scheduled forAugust 13, 2022. It will be held in-person at Aldersgate UMC, 3926 Old Denton Road, Carrollton, TX 75007, from 9 am—12:30 pm. Anyone may attend but must register at https://ntcumc.org/lay-servant-ministries so that Aldersgate UMC will be prepared with seating and/or other COVID protocols necessary at the time.

We have a talented line-up of speakers:

• Jeff Bouis has served on numerous boards and committees across the local, district, and conference levels, including being Conference Lay Leader 2016-2020. 

• Sally Vonner is currently Transformation Officer for the national office of United Women in Faith.  She has also served on many boards and committees, often as the leader, in our conference, the jurisdiction, and beyond.

• Mary Brooke Casad, author and retired lay professional, is well known throughout our conference, jurisdiction and throughout the world of United Methodism.
