Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Welcome UNT Students at Mean Green Fling!

FUMC Denton is excited to take part in Mean Green Fling—UNT’s big welcome event for incoming freshmen to get connected with the Denton community! We’ll be hosting a table and need friendly, welcoming volunteers to represent our church.

August 13, 4–7:30pm
UNT Campus (exact spot TBA)

Volunteers will help:

• Greet and engage students with warmth and enthusiasm

• Pass out information about FUMC Denton

• Set up and tear down

Important notes:

• You will need to help lift boxes and/or coolers as well as stand and walk in summer heat

• If you'd like, you can bring your own lawn chair

This is a great way to extend hospitality and let students know there’s a place for them here in Denton—and at FUMC Denton. Let’s show up and shine God's love for these new students! 💚🦅
