The annual, nationally-recognized Denton Juneteenth Parade will be passing our church and the parade organizers have invited our church to come and experience this incredible event! The parade begins at the Denton Civic Center (near the site of the original celebrations) and travels to Fred Moore Park, where contemporary celebrations are held, passing our church on Industrial Street. Our East Wing parking lot and the church lawn will be available for you to come support our Black community on this important day of celebration! This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome! The post-parade ceremony will occur at the Collins Pavilion in Fred Moore Park.
