FUMC Denton’s Missions Committee has chosen First Meal and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) as recipients of the 2024 Christmas Offering.

First Meal, a ministry of FUMC Denton, feeds 35-40 of our unhoused neighbors each week, offering not only meals but also dignity, respect, and friendship.

UMCOR is responding to the aftermath of back-to-back hurricanes that have left thousands of families in the southeastern United States in urgent need of assistance.

Your contributions to the Christmas Offering will help support these vital ministries, bringing hope and healing to our community and beyond. Together, we can shine God’s love into the lives of those who need it most. Donations can be made online at FUMC Denton by selecting “Christmas Offering” in the drop-down menu, or checks can be mailed to the church with “Christmas Offering” in the memo line.
