Hero’s don’t just wear capes, Most Hero’s roll up their sleeves to save lives. No need to be nervous the day of the blood drive, here is what you can generally expect once you get to the Carter BloodCare Bus blood drive:
Once you arrive to the drive, check in with the volunteers. You would be able to wait in your car until it’s your turn or outside the bus on the areas that are marked 6ft apart. Either a staff person or volunteer will let you know when you’re able to enter the health history booth.
If you did not make an appointment, a volunteer will be able to let you know when a good time to return would be, or if you can go ahead and wait until it’s your turn to enter the mobile.
While waiting to enter, donors are encouraged to begin filling out their donor questionnaire, online. To review donor materials, and answer donor questions, on their own electronic devices, access it here ( type in browser: qs.carterbloodcare.org )or download the app available for iOS and Android.
Follow the normal blood donation process & when you’re done with you donation, you can eat a snack and drink a power aid.
