Beyond the Falling STARR: A Workshop on How Schools are Graded

In 2025, the Texas Legislature eliminated the STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) with significant changes coming in the 2027-2028 school year. This standardized test for public school students from grades 3 through high school measures academic achievement against state standards.
