Join us for a special blessing for teachers, staff, and students of all ages at the beginning of the new school year! Those involved with education will be invited to stand and receive the well-wishes and prayers of the congregation at all of our services. Everyone is invited to bring your backpacks to be prayed over and they will receive a special blessing tag to place on it. Kids, youth, and adults, too! Anyone can get a tag to place on your backpack, bag, or keys for the school year! We look forward to lifting you up as we begin a new year!

August 11 is also Promotion Sunday! Kids move up to the next grade in Sunday School—kids age 4 by September 1, 2024 are invited to join us upstairs in Room 241 to begin attending Sunday School at the 10am hour. Contact Pastor Sheryl at sgallarneau@fumc-denton.com for more information.
