This month’s Mission Corner recipient is the Teen Parent Program in Denton ISD. Pregnant and parenting teens have unique needs and challenges.
Social workers at 6 Denton ISD High School campuses have created a program designed to help students graduate and prepare for their future by offering resources for parenting, home-bound instruction, and transportation assistance to help them manage their responsibilities and stay on track to complete their high school diplomas.
We are excited for this new opportunity to support students in the Denton ISD. Some of the needed items include:
Baby wipes
Diapers
Baby snacks
Nursing pads
Baby wash
Baby lotion
Board books
Thank you so much for your support! You may bring your items with you on Sunday mornings or drop them by the collection box in the entry way off the Ivey Garden during Office Hours, Monday-Wednesday, from 9-4pm and Thursday, 9am-12:30pm. We have also created an Amazon Wishlist if you prefer to give that way.
