Located in the Wesley Foundation Center on the University of North Texas campus, the Shiloh Food Pantry serves food insecure students and neighbors near campus. Active students from any Denton campus and even those not currently in school are welcomed. The Shiloh Food Pantry serves predominantly international and immigrant students, so far helping over 300 households in 2024. You can also volunteer to serve at the pantry or to serve free lunch to students on Thursdays!
Throughout April, we will be collecting food & hygiene items for the Denton Wesley foundation's free Shiloh Food Pantry and resource room! The Denton Wesley serves the local community and students at UNT, TWU, & NCTC. Here's a list of needed items:
Period Products/Toilet Paper
Body Soap/Shampoo/Toothpaste
Household Cleaners/Laundry Pods
Instant Noodles/Mac & Cheese
Granola Bars/Individually wrapped Snacks
Nuts (Especially almonds)
Hearty Soups (especially vegetarian)
Paper or plastic grocery bags
Please bring your donations with you to worship on Sundays. Donations can also be brought to church to the Ivey Garden entrance of the church on Locust Street during the week, Monday-Thursday, from 9-4 pm. You can give by check to the church with the memo line: April Mission Corner. You can also give online at fumcdenton.com/give and select “General Missions” indicating April Mission Corner in the memo line.
Thank you for supporting our local college campus ministry and the community they serve!
