Join us for a discussion of An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States (you do not have to read the book to join our discussion of this important social justice issue!). Winner of the 2015 American Book Award. Dunbar-Ortiz challenges the founding myth of the United States and offers a history told from the perspective of Indigenous peoples. She challenges us to understand our history from a different perspective and recognize the silences of Indigenous voice that have haunted our national narrative.
