Reunion: Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time

I can think of few better ways than celebrating and supporting the faith journey of our youth as they embark on the life with Jesus we celebrated at Easter. Join us this Sunday, April 24th in the Sanctuary service as we celebrate confirmation. 8th grade students have been learning about their faith, putting it into action, and preparing to make a commitment, confirming their faith in the way of Jesus and to our church community. And we get to come alongside and make a sacred commitment to them to support, nurture, and always be a place where they belong in full. This will be a special service.

In all our services, we will be beginning our new series, Reunion: Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time. We’ll look at the way people in our Scripture library had life-changing encounters when they met Jesus for the first time. And we’ll look at how we can meet Jesus again like it is the first time for us as well — with fresh eyes, open hearts, and a readiness for the life-transforming love that Jesus brings. Join Pastor Don at 9 in Mosaic and 11 in the Sanctuary, Pastor Mauricio at 1 for Jesus Fuente de Vida, and Pastor Jonathan at 11 in Open, for a chance to meet Jesus together again in a brand new way!
