Being Love: The Unexpected Gospel

Welcome to Celebration Worship at FUMC Denton! Today, we begin the Lenten Sermon Series, “Being Love,” as we journey together to the fountain of God’s love to revisit our baptismal vows and drink deeply of God’s grace. Throughout this series, we’ll be deepening our Lenten practice by focusing on how to be the church together right now, where we are, wherever we are, in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, classrooms, and lives. We hope to do this by offering practical teaching, helpful tools, and inspiring opportunities to grow in and shine out love of God, love of neighbor, and love of ourselves right where we are. So, grab a blanket, a cup of hot chocolate or “joe” and join your church family for worship. If you are able, we invite you to have some water on hand as we remember our baptism and give thanks!
