Life’s Big Questions: Do you have to choose between truth and acceptance?

Our next question in our Life’s Big Questions series is: Do you have to choose between truth and acceptance? That’s an interesting question given that we’re supposed to be living in polarized times. I see posts on social media that say, “If you (fill in the blank), then we can’t be friends.” Is it really true we can’t be friends? Pastor David will be telling the story of Jim Daly and Ted Trimpa, two men from very different backgrounds who found a way to reach across a great divide and become friends. We hope you’ll find something in their story that will help answer this question for you.

In Mosaic & Open, Pastor Sheryl will be speaking to the topic of "Where is God When Bad Things Happen?" We are all impacted by tragedy, suffering, pain and challenges at some point in our lives, and it’s often very difficult to comprehend how these things might happen. How do we follow God’s plan when we can’t see past the mountain in front of us?
