Bright Hope for Tomorrow
Thornburg writes, “Hope is naming the One in whom you place your trust, even when it’s hard to see what’s ahead.” We are invited to place our trust in a God who is faithful and is full of steadfast love for us and all creation. As we look back, this church has seen God be faithful throughout its history. And each of us, even though there have been hard times, can reflect on the ways we have seen God’s loving hand in our lives. As we look forward, we long to live in hope. That means trusting in the One who is love and who is with us. And that means opening our hands to the present and to what God might have for us in the future.
