Good news from Saratov!

We received good news from the Saratov church! The pastor from our sister church in Saratov, Russia was recently ordained as an elder. Shown here at her ordination is Elder Rev. Tatiana Fadeeva. Bishop Eduard Khegay, Bishop of the Eurasian Area, is administering the act of ordination. Assisting him is Rev. Fedor Kim, pastor of Rainbow Methodist Church in Moscow, Russia. 

The St Luke’s United Methodist Church (formerly the Saratov United Methodist Church) continues to grow and take an active part in the community, holding Bible studies, workshops and seminars for women. In January, church members attended the training for Children’s Sunday School teachers which was held near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This training was sponsored by Marfa Ministry.
