Congratulations Jenny Bates!

Thank you for all your prayers and support for our Pastoral Intern, Jenny Bates, as Jenny went before the Board of Ordained Ministry this week to be interviewed for commissioning. Jenny has been approved for commissioning as a provisional deacon pending clergy vote and appointment! That means thatafter Jenny is voted in, we will get to celebrate Jenny's commissioning at Annual Conference in June 2024—where Jenny will be welcomed as Rev. Jenny Bates. We are so proud of our friend and pastor and can't wait to bear witness to Jenny's journey in the United Methodist Church in the years to come!
