Summer of Service: Denton Recycling

On August 7, our FUMC Denton Kids got a visit from Denton Recycling! They provided incredibly insightful ideas and facts to our kids about recycling. Kids learned what can and can’t be recycled and why as well as what happens to these materials after they get picked up. They planed a sorting game relay race and had to decide if the materials in the middle of the room were recyclable or not. They had a lot of fun and we know that they will take this knowledge home and apply it to their everyday lives!
