15,768 Meals Packed!

This past Sunday 110 of us gathered to assemble meals for Send Hope. Send Hope supports and assists over 1,000 children in the remote area of La Moskitia, Honduras through the House of Hope children’s’ home, Katrina Engle Memorial Nourishment Program, and other community outreach initiatives.  We assembled 15,768 meals for the House of Hope. Tom and Sharon Brian from Allen have been started this ministry as a medical mission trip that has expanded into the ministry it is today. We had a great time not only assembling meals, but getting to know each other better as we served.  Thanks also to the youth groups of Flower Mound and Aldersgate UMCs, who joined us for the evening.
