Announcing Jamie Rives as Interim Director of Children’s Ministry

Dear Church Family,

We are excited to announce an Interim Director of Children’s Ministry, Jamie Rives! Jamie is currently leading children’s choir and will continue in that capacity, while providing excellent leadership to the Children’s Ministry for the coming season. Jamie will be starting in this new capacity on Sunday, March 19th. 

In addition to her career in music education, Jamie has served United Methodist churches including serving as a Children’s Minister with Lovers Lane UMC. We are grateful for her willingness to offer her experience and expertise and deep love for our church’s children and families. And, if you have seen her work with our Children’s Choir, I know you are as excited as we are.  

We want to extend our continued gratitude to our Sunday school teachers and other volunteers, Children’s Ministry Council, nursery staff, and our Children’s Ministry Assistant, Kate Mears, for their leadership and care for the children of FUMC Denton.
