Deadline to register is September 25

This workshop for 5th through 8th graders is designed to present information about anatomy, puberty and adolescence, human development, sexuality, and being created in the image of God. This course is facilitated by Cheryl Bishop, Director of Family Ministry at First UMC of Richardson.

Parents meet with the facilitator on Thursday prior to the event, from 6:30-8 pm. If you need childcare that night, please let Teresa know by emailing her at tstarrett@fumc-denton.com by September 20.

Students meet with the facilitator and small group leaders on Friday from 6:30-9 pm and again on Saturday from 9 am-3:30 pm. Parents return on Saturday at 2:30 for a closing session with the facilitator and the students. This will be held in Miller Center at FUMC Denton. Cost is $40 per child.
