Tonight’s Trunk or Treat event will be moved inside since it’ll be a cold, windy, and maybe rainy night! We’ll set up “trunks” in classroom doorways and along the walls in miller center, and down to Flinn hall—all on the 1st floor of the main building. Games, food, and bounce house will be in Monroe Gym! It’s best to start at the big awning in the church parking lot on the corner of mulberry and locust and move through the event from there. Looking forward to seeing you all!
Join us for our Halloween event at FUMC Denton! We are so excited to back full swing this year with Trunk or Treat, festival games, a bounce house, hotdogs, and more!
We’ll get together for a night of fun and laughter, trunk-or-treating, and games. This will be a night full of fun for everyone! Share the Harvest also got its name from members in our community donating cans and non-perishable food items at this event. This year, we are collecting donations of any amount for hotdogs. All of the proceeds will go toward supporting our First Meal ministry with our unhoused neighbors.
We are incredibly excited to provide this free opportunity to our community. Remember that here at FUMC Denton all are welcome and we cannot wait to see you!
Youth or adult, long-time member or first-time visitor, your presence is needed at this event! Whether it’s signing up to host a game, decorate a trunk, or being another smiling face there to get candy — you are both welcome and needed to shine God’s love and to every life. We can’t wait to shine God’s love in our community again this Halloween! As we get ready for our annual Trunk or Treat event, we will need lots of candy. Last year, we passed out so much candy we had folks running to the store to get more!
