The Harvest Class will be offering a new study that we will begin on May 1. Love is the Way: Holding Onto Hope in Troubling Times by Bishop Michael Curry. Bishop Curry is best known (at least as of late) for preaching at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. This will be an open, thought-provoking discussion that will lead us on a 6-week journey that will take us into mid-June. Here is a short description of the book:
In this book, Bishop Curry shares his deep faith that characterized that cultural moment: the way of love. It is the under-appreciated, all-but-forgotten understanding of agape, the love that uplifts, liberates and changes the world. Though some might believe the world has to be the same, this way has the power to change things for the better.
