September Mission corner will be a collection for the First Meal donation closet. First Meal is a free breakfast and informal worship service for any of our neighbors who are in need of a free meal on Sunday morning, hosted here at FUMC Denton in Monroe Gym at 7:30 am every Sunday. Churches from all all over North Texas take turns sponsoring the meal and leading this service—it’s a wonderful time of friendship, service, and food.

Needed Items: 

• short and long sleeve shirts

• washcloths

• socks

• store-bought underwear

• travel size soaps

• toothbrush and toothpaste

• travel-size deodorants

• small nail clippers

• travel-size shampoos

• bug spray

• gallon-sized ziplock bags (not needed in large quantities)
