Jim Engelbrecht Memorial Blood Drive

  • First United Methodist Church of Denton 201 South Locust Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

In memory of Jim Engelbrecht, we invite you to help save lives by donating blood. Make a difference by making your online appointment today. Each presenting donor will receive a free appetizer from Cotton Patch restaurants and will be entered in a daily drawing where 4 random donors will a $500 e-gift card.

Hero’s don’t just wear capes, many roll up their sleeves to save lives. No need to be nervous, here is what you can generally expect once you get to the Carter BloodCare Bus blood drive:

Once you arrive to the drive, check in with the volunteers. Either a staff person or volunteer will let you know when you’re able to enter the health history booth. If you did not make an appointment, a volunteer will be able to let you know when a good time to return would be, or if you can go ahead and wait until it’s your turn to enter the mobile. We still ask donors to wear masks, and we clean after the donors.

While waiting to enter, donors are encouraged to begin filling out their donor questionnaire, online. To review donor materials, and answer donor questions, on their own electronic devices, access it here (type in browser: qs.carterbloodcare.org )or download the app available for iOS and Android.

Follow the normal blood donation process & when you’re done with you donation, you can eat a snack and drink a power aid.
