Bring your pets to the church on Sunday, September 3 at 1 pm for a Blessing of the Animals event outside in Ivey Garden on the Locust side of the church. Anyone with animal companions are invited to join us for this short service. A certificate will be presented for those who are blessed. Pets of all kinds are welcome!

The Blessing of Animals is associated with the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi—a day where many people bring their pets to the church because of his love for animals as expressed in his Canticle of Creatures. You can pray for and bless your pets and animals at home, too!
