Through our partnership with Rivera Elementary School, FUMC Denton volunteers mentor students in Denton ISD and schools in other districts that are affiliated with Communities in Schools of North Texas (CISNT). This year, mentoring will be virtual, using Facetime, Zoom, and other similar tools. As a mentor, you meet once a week with a student who has been identified as likely to benefit from sharing a on-going relationship with a caring and supportive adult. Mentors are needed for students of every age.
