Join us for worship to begin the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday. This service will include the imposition of ashes and focuses on centering ourselves as we prepare to journey with Jesus to the cross and ultimately his resurrection on Easter morning.

There are two opportunities—Noon in Cole Chapel or at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Childcare will be available for ages 0-4 during the 6:30 pm service. Please enter the church through the Mulberry door that can be found on the Mulberry Street side of the church in the center of the building. The elevator is on the left and the Sanctuary and childcare are on the 2nd floor.

The 6:30 pm service will be live-streamed at fumcdenton.com/live and on Facebook. For those of you joining from home, you are welcome to use any other household item as ashes—some popular choices include glitter, chalk, spices, and dirt for self-imposition at home.
