Everyone deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning! The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. FUMC Denton members with big hearts are invited fulfill the Christmas wishes and needs for individuals that are here in Denton or the surrounding area. Through your kindness and generosity, you are making a difference for a child or senior who needs your help at this particular time in their lives. These Angels have been authenticated of their needs. The miracle of Christmas is repeated during the Christmas season through the joy of caring and sharing.

We will have a Christmas tree up with Angel tags at the church, each tag representing one child and their requests. Pick up Angel tags on Sundays November 6, 13, 20, & 27. Please return your Angel’s gifts UNwrapped to the church by Thursday, December 1 by 3 pm. We hope you will participate as a volunteer this year or adopt an Angel!

We also need volunteers to staff the Angel Trees (8-9:30, 9:30-11, 11 – 12:30) on November 6, 13, 20, & 27. You can sign up by contacting Shelby Benton at shelbyaworkman@gmail.com.
