All Saints & Communion Service (Sanctuary)

  • First United Methodist Church of Denton 201 South Locust Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

Join us for a brief, indoor All Saints & Communion service on Sunday, November 1 in the Sanctuary. We'll be celebrating Communion together with individual pre-filled communion cups for safety. Masks and social distancing will be required. Reservation is required so that we can ensure the safety of our community—please register the number for every person coming with you. Our Sunday school classes, groups, nursery, Kids and Youth Ministries will not yet resume on Sunday mornings.

What to Bring:

  • Please bring and wear a mask while you are on campus.

  • Children school-age and up should have masks as well.

  • We have removed everything from the pews to keep them sanitary. Please bring your Bible and if you’re a note-taker, you’ll need to bring your own paper and pen.

  • If you plan to bring your commitment card or offering to turn in, there will be an offering box. We will not pass baskets during worship.

What to expect when you arrive:

There will be two entrances open—the Mulberry side door and the East Wing Awning where are largest parking lot is. There will be a Welcome Table at each of these doors where someone will be waiting to take your temperature, check your registration, and help you find your way to the Sanctuary.

All of our surfaces will be professionally cleaned and ready for you. Hand sanitizing stations will be available as you enter the building and in the Sanctuary.

Our Sanctuary is located on the 2nd floor. If you need elevator access, we will have an elevator attendant that will help you get to the second floor and work the buttons for you. Once you arrive to the Sanctuary, there will be hand sanitizer stations and someone there to greet you and help you find a seat. Our balcony will be closed, so please allow our ushers help you find a seat in the main floor.

Please keep your mask on as long as you are in the building and throughout the service. We will have instrumental music, a message from Pastor Don Lee, Communion, and an opportunity to remember our saints. When the service is over, you will be dismissed by row by an usher to limit large crowds.

Please arrive on time. Our doors will lock at 9:10 am.

We look forward to worshipping with you! If you have any questions, please reach out to our Director of Worship & Music, Josh Taylor, at jtaylor@fumc-denton.com.
