Finding Home for Christmas: Home Is Where God Is

As Christmas approaches many of us have “home” on the mind. Seeing family, exchanging gifts, sharing meals, and the stories of our lives will be the order of the day during this holiday season. What you might not know is how “home” is a consistent and overarching theme in scripture. So much of the Christian faith is a means to an end; the end being that we would find ourselves at home with God and all of God’s children. Home, then is not some physical construct but a loving relationship with the One who’s with-ness has been here since day one. This Sunday, join Pastor Jonathan at Open, or myself at the Mosaic or the Sanctuary Service in-person or online as we discover that home is where God is.
